BAN Prez appointed HPMC member of NSSH scheme

Dimapur, August 18 (MExN): The President of the Business Association of Nagas (BAN), L Mongkum Jamir has been appointed as member of the High-Powered Monitoring Committee (HPMC) of the National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

A press release issued by Taliwati Longchar, IEDS, Joint Director & HoO stated that NSSH is aimed at capacity enhancement of SC/ST entrepreneurs and promoting "entrepreneurship culture" amongst the SC/ST population.

The BAN in another press release stated that it is a matter of great honour for the Association and thanked the Minister, MSME for giving the opportunity to their president, L Mongkum Jamir. "We are positive that this appointment will benefit the SC/ST entrepreneurs especially from the North East region," the BAN stated.
